BIRGITTE MELLENTIN

Halo my name is Birgitte Mellentin.

I'm a Danish Scenographer and costume designer, educated as a Scenographer and costume designer at the Copenhagen Theater School (4 years)

Educated at the Danish design school for textile design in Copenhagen (4 years)

I have been working at all the big stages in Scandinavia and at the Royal Theater and Opera House in Copenhagen and the Royal theater "Dramaten" in Stockholm.

Scenography and costume design for modern plays as well as Shakespeare, Kleist, Moliere, Ibsen, Tjekov ........

In 2004 I became " the Scenographer of the year " for my work : Marcel Proust "On the trail of the lost time" 

I got many other prices through the years.

I have also worked for film (Susanne Bier) and Television.
